DESCRIPTION: simple, with stem to 3 m, leaves ca 30-50, 100x15 cm, dull green with many prickles, teeth 6 mm long, 10-20 mm apart. Inflorescence ca 100 cm tall with 8 branches, racemes cylindrical, flowers scarlet or orange.
