DESCRIPTION: Small succulent forming diffuse mats, sometimes rhizomatous. Stems 5-8 cm long, 0.8-1.2 cm in diameter (excluding teeth), decumbent, grey-green flecked with dark green to purple-brown; tubercles 4-6 mm long, arranged into 4 rows along stem (joined towards bases), conical and somewhat laterally flattened, acuminate, very rarely with small stipular denticles.
